With over 7 years of experience in the digital marketing and social media marketing industry, having worked for a nationally recognized agency, a small boutique agency, and now owning her own company, Danielle has a very unique “behind the scenes” perspective that she brings to the conversation regarding small business marketing.

When she’s not doing 1:1 coaching calls, or working with her clients Danielle is most likely juggling her two daughters, spending time with individuals and couples that she and her husband personally mentor, and being active in her local community.

3 tips for the local business owner to keep customers engaged during this time

  • Social media usage has increased by over 50% across all platforms in the last month nationwide
  • That creates a lot of noise, but you need to be in that mess
  • Make a social post every day, at least one
  • Start with simple elementary types of posts: Monday Motivation, Tuesday Tips, Wacky Wednesday with a fun meme, Thankful Thursday, etc.
  • Facebook likes to see you are posting consistently
  • For brick and mortar – definitely be on Facebook. Instagram requires you to have better visuals
  • Business owners need to be doing video like crazy – Facebook live video
  • Because of being active on social and staying connected through video – your customers will know you are still around and open, or back open when all of this is over
  • Take action and engage with your followers
  • You may even end up with new customers because of the video interaction
  • If you don’t like your live video when you are done, delete it – you don’t have to post it!
